It gives me a great pleasure to know that Defence Accounts Pensioners Welfare Association (Reg.) is bringing out revised telephone-cum-address Directory of its members.

The family of DAPWA has grown manifold since its inception. Thus, the need was felt to have a revised telephone directory.The DAPWA is working with a missionary zeal and is continuously doing a commendable service to take up cases of member pensioners with the concerned authorities. The office bearers of the DAPWA have been discharging their duties with dedication and sense of enthusiasm.

The DAPWA started in MAY-2008 with the aim to look after the welfare ofpensioners. The monthly meetings conducted by the association facilitate the sense of brotherhood socialization among its member pensioners. May the sense of welfare and brotherhood prevails amongst the members and their families.

It gives me great pleasure and satisfaction that the association is bringing out 5th edition of the telephone directory of its members. The updated information will be extremely helpful in keeping constant and continuous interaction and exchange of ideas among the members for further betterment of services since the latest contact number and other details are extremely crucial for keeping in touch with even those members who may not be in a position to personally attend the association meetings. I extend my heartiest felicitations to all those who have made tremendous efforts in bringing out the fifth edition of the directory.

I am extremely delighted to know that Defence Accounts Pensioners Welfare Association Chandigarh is publishing the 5th edition of the telephone directory of its members. From the day of its inception in May 2008, this association known as DAPWA, has been very active in effectively articulating before the concerned Govt. Agencies, the interests of pensioners in general and of DAD in particular with dedication and distinction. The activities of DAPWA have not only won the hearts of its members and the concerned agencies but DAPWA has become a name to be reckoned with amongst the other pensioners associations at all India level. I hope that this new telephone directory will certainly help in enhancing the feeling of brotherhood, unity and oneness amongst DAPWA members and prove beneficial in cementing the social bonding amongst them.

It is a matter of pleasure and pride for all of us Defence Accounts Pensioners Welfare Association (Reg) is bringing out the 5th edition of Telephone Directory of its members along with their addresses. This will certainly help in building a strong bond of brotherhood and feeling of oneness amongst the members. This will also facilitate the members to discuss their problem with each other.

I am thankful to all the members of the Executive body of DAPWA for taking this wise decision. I also place on records my sincere thanks and gratitude to the members of the executive body for rendering the help needed in the publication of this Directory. We have taken utmost care to ensure correctness of the information therein, however, despite that, if any error has occurred, members are requested inform General Secretary, so that necessary correction may be made in the future edition of the Directory. May God bless all of you and your family members.

I feel pride in presenting 5" Edition of Telephone Directory containing contact details of esteemed members of DAPWA. This telephone directory is certainly going to create feeling of goodwill & harmony amongst all members. Utmost objective of creating this directory, is to reduce communication gap between our members. Apart from other relevant efforts, this is going to be first & foremost milestone to move further in time ahead. Our efforts will always be taking DAPWA to new horizon with support & guidance of all esteemed members.
